Academic Interests

A Professor of Medicine, Dr. Slivka's research interests include non-invasive diagnosis of pancreaticobiliary cancer, development and testing of new drugs and devices used during ERCP, and the development of new strategies to treat pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.

Evaluation and management of patients with pancreaticobiliary diseases both benign and malignant. ERCP. Endoscopic mucosal resection of tumors of the large and small bowel.

Training fellows in ERCP and EMR. Lecture medical students on the pathophysiology of gallstones.
