Dr. Towers provides primary and consultative care to older adults at the UPMC Senior Care-Benedum Geriatric Center located in UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Her interests are in healthy aging of the mind and body, and management of mood and cognitive disorders. She pioneered the use of "Group Visits" in an academic practice as an effective way of providing care to older adults, especially those with complex needs. She also serves as a Senior Clinical Advisor to UPMC Enterprises.
