Academic Interests
Dr. Negri Jimenez is a Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine whose current career goals are focused on resident education, wellness, and mentorship. She is a big supporter of the Medical Education Certificate Program and the Hospitalist Certificate Program offered by the UPMC GIM Residency Program as young doctors develop their skills and style of practice. Outside of clinical practice, she is involved in research regarding the genotype to phenotype relationship in specific BRAC2 mutations to better inform universal screening guidelines for pancreatic cancer, and how to better direct limited nutritionist resources to support our patients undergoing cancer-directed therapy.
