Dr. Mieczkowski is a dual-trained physician who is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics and who sees patients across the age spectrum. She works with the physicians and staff at her combined adult and pediatric office in Turtle Creek to improve individual, family, and community health. Additionally, she sees adult patients through the general internal medicine office at UPMC Montefiore.
Dr. Mieczkowski was named the Associate Program Director of the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency in July 2016 and promoted to Program Director in July 2020. She works closely with medical students, residents, and fellows in the inpatient and outpatient settings and is particularly interested in the balance of trainee supervision and autonomy, as well as trainee wellness.
