Alexandre was born in Beirut, and raised in the United Arab Emirates and Canada, before returning to Lebanon where he completed his medical school and Internal Medicine residency training at the American University of Beirut. He then moved to the US where he gained additional training in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio.
Alexandre is drawn to rheumatology for its complexity and diagnostic challenges, finding fulfillment in piecing together clinical puzzles to arrive at a diagnosis. He has participated in multiple research projects and his work on lupus nephritis was awarded 1st runner-up at the 2024 North American Young Rheumatology Investigation Forum. He is excited to join UPMC for fellowship, where the dedicated tracks and renowned faculty allow for personalized career development.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching good TV series, and traveling.
