Academic Interests

Dr. Iovleva's research focuses on elucidating mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance and contemporary genomic epidemiology of drug resistant gram-negative pathogens with a long-term goal of translating this knowledge to new diagnostics and treatment development to improve clinical outcomes in these difficult-to-treat infections.
Dr. Iovleva rounds on the general as well as telemedicine infectious diseases consult services as an attending physician.
