Allyson Lieberman, MD, PhD

Dr. Allyson Lieberman obtained her B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania for her M.D. and Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology through their MSTP. Her Ph.D. thesis investigated the role of calcineurin signaling in lung fibroblast homeostasis and lung metastasis. She attended internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, during which she investigated the implementation of proning in ARDS. Her current academic interests include the utilization of molecular profiling to improve outcomes in lung transplantation. Outside of work, she enjoys choral singing, sewing, crafting, and discovering new restaurants.
