Academic Interests

Dr. Toor is a staff hospitalist in the Section of Hospital Medicine. He attended medical school at Kasturba Medical College before completing his internal medicine residency at UPMC Mercy. He joined the Pitt faculty in 2012 and primarily works at UPMC Mercy. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is also an active member of the UPMC Mercy HCAHPS, Patient Grievance, and Hospitalist Scheduling committees. His research interests include papillary thyroid carcinoma and pneumonia, both of which he has presented on at national conferences.
