As a subspecialty physician with dual training in nephrology and palliative care, I have participated in collaborative research. These efforts have included a retrospective review of kidney palliative care at UPMC/Pitt, scholarly work in the area of kidney palliative care, and serving as the site PI for multicenter clinical trials. As my career goes on, I anticipate more contributions in the area of medical education and physician well-being.
