Academic Interests
Dr. Sharma is a staff hospitalist in the Section of Hospital Medicine. He attended medical school at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and then completed his residency in internal medicine at UPMC Mercy. Before joining the Pitt faculty, he worked as a house surgeon and teaching assistant for Pitt's School of Pharmacy. Dr. Sharma has conducted research related to drug interactions and effects in liver transplant patients and prostate cancer screening in resident practice.
