Celeste Charchenko, MD

Originally from North Dakota, Dr. Celeste Charchenko earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Health Sciences from the University of North Dakota before receiving her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Youngstown, Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident, demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, medical education, and leadership.
Dr. Charchenko's clinical and academic interests focus on the care of patients with complex critical illness. She is committed to advancing an integrated model of nephrology and critical care that combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate, patient-centered care. Her areas of interest include fluid and electrolyte management, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and value-based approaches to kidney care.
Outside of her clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Charchenko enjoys physical fitness, reading nonfiction, and following Major League Baseball.
