Dr. Cene-Kush's scholarly work focuses on enhancing education on Deployment-Related Respiratory Disease (DRRD) for learners at various levels, including primary care providers and pulmonologists. She is the author of a peer-reviewed ambulatory teaching script on DRRD, published by the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors.
Dr. Cene-Kush practices inpatient critical care and pulmonary medicine at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, UPMC East, and UPMC Mercy. She developed a special clinical interest in Deployment-Related Respiratory Disease during her fellowship at UPMC and VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
Dr. Cene-Kush is a clinician-educator and Subspecialty Education Coordinator for Critical Care within the Internal Medicine Residency. She also serves as a longitudinal Clinical Skills Preceptor for first- and second-year medical students, teaching physical exam and medical interviewing skills. She gained expertise in medical education during her fellowship, earning a Master’s Certificate in Medical Education.
