Academic Interests
Dr. Akanya specializes in cardiology and interventional cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Akanya completed her fellowship at Yale University Bridgeport Hospital, residency at Quinnipiac University, Frank H Netter School of Medicine, and medical education at Crimean State Medical University.
