Dr. DiNardo serves as the Women’s Health Medical Director at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System and cares for patients in the VA Pittsburgh Primary Care Clinic. She also supervises residents in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at the Pittsburgh VA, where she also serves as the Associate Program Director for VA outpatient education.
Dr. DiNardo has extensive teaching experience within undergraduate and graduate medical education, as well as in the post-graduate/faculty development setting. She has become a leader both locally and nationally in clinical reasoning education, having developed innovative curricula at multiple levels. Dr. DiNardo is also a leader and innovator in women’s health education, both locally and nationally.
Dr. DiNardo’s main research interests center around the development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula within medical education. Her work has spanned multiple levels, from undergraduate through post-graduate medical education. Her work has focused primarily on topics within clinical reasoning education, ambulatory resident education, and women’s health education. Dr. DiNardo has presented her work and teaching both locally and nationally.
