Dr. Ramirez joined the Pitt faculty in 2013. Previously, he earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at Indiana University before completing his internal medicine residency at UPMC. Dr. Ramirez is currently a daytime hospitalist supervising second and third year residents on the Junior Hospitalist rotation and providing didactic instruction to the residents on the rotation, as well as a facilitator in several medical school courses, including Medical Interviewing, Advanced Physical Exam, and Population Health. He is also a core hospitalist at Magee-Womens Hospital, providing primary hospital care as well as consultative services.
