Dr. Flor de Abril Cameron is a qualitative methodologist in the Center for Biostatistics and Qualitative Methodology (CBQM) Qualitative Core. She specializes in the collection and analysis of diverse data forms, including interviews, focus groups, observational records, documentation, and written materials. Before joining the faculty at Pitt, Dr. Cameron spent nearly eight years as a qualitative research specialist at CBQM. During this time, she contributed to a wide range of topics, including medical education curriculum evaluation, women's health, intervention design and implementation, and patient and provider experiences. Her current interests revolve around issues of women's health and ethnic minorities, including language equity and improvement of health programs through program monitoring and evaluation.
