Dr. Gul Saeed grew up in Pakistan and earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Ziauddin University before coming to the United States to pursue advanced research training as a postdoctoral fellow at Yale School of Medicine. During this time, she developed a strong academic foundation in pulmonary and sleep medicine, with research focused on obstructive sleep apnea and its complex effects on cardiopulmonary physiology and clinical outcomes. Her work integrates clinical insight with population-based methodologies to advance understanding of respiratory disease, pulmonary vascular function, and disparities in treatment adherence. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, where she further strengthened her clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care. Her academic focus remains centered on improving patient outcomes and addressing inequities in pulmonary health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys swimming, caring for her ever-growing collection of plants, discovering her next great read, and perfecting the art of a well-crafted brew.
