Dr. Hull is board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. She practices primary care and addiction medicine through the Internal Medicine Recovery Engagement Program (IM-REP) at UPMC Mercy and the Pregnancy and Women's Recovery Center at Magee-Womens Hospital. She also attends on the inpatient Substance Treatment and Recovery Service (STARS) at UPMC Presbyterian and the Perinatal Addiction Consultative and Education Service at Magee.
Dr. Hull's research interests are centered on improving low-barrier access to addiction treatment, especially for pregnant and parenting individuals. This includes developing and testing innovative care delivery models that better meet patient needs and integration of harm reduction strategies to improve patient engagement and outcomes. Dr. Hull is also core faculty for the addiction medicine fellowship and is involved in resident and fellow education and precepting.
