Academic Interests

Dr. Chen is a clinician-educator with a strong interest in graduate medical education. She serves as a clinical skills preceptor for medical students and works closely with internal medicine residents in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. She is also actively involved in developing the resident curriculum for ambulatory quality improvement. She has a special interest in the quality improvement of preventive care and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She is particularly interested in developing population health strategies to enhance the delivery of guideline-based care.
