Dr. Jooseob Lee, a Yonsei University College of Medicine graduate, fulfilled three years of military service, including a year as a physician in Antarctica. Passionate about healthcare accessibility, he earned an M.P.H. in community health promotion at the University of Minnesota. He finished his internal medicine residency at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital, where he served as a chief resident. He joined UPMC and served as a clinical assistant professor for three years before he pursued a fellowship. Dr. Lee’s research on COVID-related ARDS and collaboration with Dr. Nouraie’s team on automated SOFA reflect his interest in acute lung injury. Beyond medicine, he cherishes family time, exploring kid-friendly places with his wife and son.
