Academic Interests

Dr. Han's academic interests include improving the understanding of obesity and related metabolic disorders, developing effective strategies for promoting weight loss and maintenance, and implementing treatment methods and clinical programs focused on improving health and prevention of metabolic abnormalities often associated with obesity, including diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hypertension. During her fellowship, Dr. Han conducted research examining the effects of employer-sponsorship on a medically supervised weight loss program.

Dr. Han's clinical interests are in the treatment of metabolic disorders, including diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemias, and pre- and post-operative care for bariatric surgery patients.
