Dr. Stephenoff focuses on care of patients with chronic kidney disease and end stage kidney disease requiring dialysis. He has participated in quality improvement initiatives to prevent hospital readmissions in ESRD patients and prevent medication errors. Dr. Stephenoff also has a particular interest in managing patients with kidney disease related to malignancies and oncologic treatments. In addition, he sees many patients with kidney stone disorders and works with patients to prevent future kidney stones.
Dr. Stephenoff is specifically focused on improving the educational experience of trainees (medical students, internal medicine residents, critical care fellows, and others) who participate in short, clinical rotations in nephrology in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
