Academic Interests

Dr. Jhamb is a staff hospitalist in the Division of General Internal Medicine Section of Hospital Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College before completing an MPH at the University of Texas Health Science Center and his internal medicine residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Jamb is currently part of the research committee for the residency program, which is responsible for designing curriculum for residents' research month and UPMC Mercy Research Day. He also leads multiple sessions for residents, including review of Mayo Clinic curriculum and teaching rounds. Dr. Jhamb is also involved in shaping resident curriculum and serving as a mentor of residents' research projects. He regularly conducts lectures and teaching rounds for internal medicine residents, as well as pursuing quality improvement projects. In addition to his clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Jhamb also serves on the Quality Committee Team at UPMC Mercy.
