Muhammad Haseeb, MD, MSc

I am currently practicing as a general gastroenterologist, providing comprehensive care across the breadth of digestive and liver conditions. My clinical interests include the evaluation and management of common luminal gastrointestinal disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and hepatic conditions, the care of patients with obesity and metabolic disease, colorectal cancer screening, and routine diagnostic and screening endoscopy. I am committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and plan to expand my clinical scope over time as I pursue additional advanced endoscopy training. My research applies cost-effectiveness analysis, decision analysis, and evidence synthesis to evaluate advanced minimally invasive endoscopic procedures and emerging procedures and devices, generating evidence to inform their value and appropriate adoption. These methods also shape my teaching within the department's teaching mission. I mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in study design, data analysis, and evidence synthesis, and in scientific writing, so they can critically appraise and contribute to the evidence base for new and evolving endoscopic care.
