Academic Interests

Dr. Mohammed is a pharmacologist with 10 years of experience developing surgical models of cardiovascular diseases. Currently, he is developing novel technologies to treat myocardial microvascular obstruction (MVO) and myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury by ultrasound-targeted microbubble cavitation (UTMC) technique in rodent and porcine disease models.
